Hi guys!! I am well into my second week of classes here in Roma and getting a little more aqainted with my surroundings which includes my apartment. We don't have class on Mondays so yesterday we were able to make it to Ikea (best store ever) and finally buy the supplies needed to organize my space. If you know me pretty well you know I like to keep my area pretty organized when I can ha! After a weekend out maybe not so much! So I picked up some items like hangers, organizers, some new sheets, towels and some little things here and there. We managed to find a bus that took us there and back which was really handy and I can see myself going back at least once before the semester is over. Tuesdays I don't have class until 1:00 so my roommate and I made a little trip to the market and grocery store since you have to go at least three times a week just to have enough food to survive the week. It is just something you have to get used to while living in Roma! I had my first class of Italian today and I am excited to actually learn some things and not look like a complete idiot when trying to find something as simple as skim milk at the grocery store, because that can take a little while! We learned the alphabet and some simple questions to ask such as how to you say...? or what is your name? and so on. It is going to be an interesting class since I haven't taken a foreign language since high school. Tonight I will be walking with one of my guy friends from graphic to my sight (The Forum) for my studio to take some night photos, it is going to be beautiful! I hope everyone is well and until tomorrow buona notte! (goodnight)

Calley Girl,
This is the coolest little blog you have developed. You are so talented! I will be checking this often, as you know, I need daytime entertainment!! I cannot wait to show this to the girls! You are a really lucky girl to be able to experience all that you are. I am so happy that you are enjoying yourself and your new home. Be safe and please know that we are all missing you! Love you! Aunt Blythe.

Calley,
Just wanted to post something this morning before mom and I take off for Beijing. It's been a dreary weekend in Chicago - yesterday the wind was howling in the afternoon and the rain was almost straight sideways. In the morning mom and I did a little shopping and then had lunch at a nice spot she had seen in one of Lark's magazines. Unfortunately, we were drenched through and through so the shopping was a bit cold. We hit one of your favorite spots (Urban Outfitters) but it was miserably cold. Anyway - love your blog and hope you had a nice time in Capri. Talk to you soon.
Love,
Dad and Mom
