Hi guys, so last night was our first night really out on the town and it was a blast. We got ready at our apartment and headed to a pub called Scholars which is an Irish pub and we get discounts for being american students... pretty nice huh!!! When we arrived there we were greeted by the other half of my class, it was like showing up at an Ames bar lol! I had my first real Italian beer called Perroni which was pretty good! Half way through the night there was a band that started playing authentic Irish music and it was amazing! It was sooo neat to be in that type of atmosphere something way different that I have ever experienced. Then the best part... we met some really cute English boys at the end of the night, if I could have I would have totally brought one back to the states ha! It was a great night and I know there will be many more to come. This morning we woke up pretty early to go the beach which isn't to far from Rome. It was about a 45 min train ride from the city on a very hot and stinky train. We spent the day there swimming and laying out on the public beach, which let me tell you it is a totally different experience from the beaches in the states anything from naked babies to naked adults goes ha! It was a long day spent in the sun and now I am about to call it a night, we are headed to Campo de Fiori for Dinner and GELATO! Then to Piazza Navona to see the street performers.
